Please take a few minutes to peruse our site for valuable information that may save your life, and the lives of your loved ones. Statistics show that, on average, fire kills eight people each week in Canada, with residential fires accounting for 73% of these fatalities.
Incorporated in 1976 as a registered charity, FIPRECAN is a non-profit organization. Our primary mission is to increase awareness of fire prevention nationally, through educating the public directly . Fire Prevention Canada is privileged to have His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada as its Patron.
We look forward to hearing from you and welcome your suggestions. We invite you to become a Friend of Fire Prevention Canada. Details can be found on this website.
DYMON STORAGE WELCOMED AS NEW SPONSOR OF FIRE PREVENTION CANADA
The dynamic and fast-growing company, Dymon Storage, has become the newest sponsor of Fire Prevention Canada. In just a few years it has become a leader in its field opening seven locations in Ottawa with one more opening there soon. On their website (see link at the bottom of this page) you will find the locations of nine more locations in Ottawa and in Quebec, with more cities to be announced in future.
One of the deadly causes of fires is clutter and poor storage of people’s and companies’ little-used goods stored on their premises and neglected. In the fire business we call this fire load. Fire Prevention Canada has always urged the proper storage of goods in areas that have fire separations, fire doors and fire detection systems which is not always found ion residtial construction. We are pleased with Dymon’s on-site attention to these needs, topped off with a sprinkler system throughout each of their buildings.
Dymon makes safe storage easy to do with a number of different-sized units available and a variety of prices. They also have a free truck and driver service for those moving in and surveillance cameras throughout. Entry is by check-in only with the personnel on duty. Dymon also facilitates using their service by selling sturdy boxes and other moving supplies.
Fire Prevention Canada recommends Dymon Storage- two partners keeping you fire-safe.
